About
This workshop introduces participants to watercolour and its fluid, expressive qualities.
This workshop introduces participants to watercolour and its fluid, expressive qualities. The day will explore tone using both a limited colour palette and a wider range of colours.
Through guided exercises, participants will try different watercolour techniques inspired by real and imagined landscapes. The focus will be on creating a sense of space, depth, and atmosphere in a relaxed and experimental way, while gradually building confidence and control.
Individual support will be available throughout the day, making the workshop suitable for everyone, from complete beginners to more experienced artists.
The workshop will be led by Francesco Poiana, an artist represented by Messums and a tutor at the Hampstead School of Art and University of the Arts London. This workshop is offered free of charge thanks to the support of Messums East and the East Suffolk Community Partnership
