William Bowden is a professor of Roman Archaeology at the University of Nottingham, and has significantly advanced the understanding of Roman towns through major research projects, including his impactful work at Caistor St Edmund, while also striving to make archaeology accessible to everyone. He has published widely on Roman, Late Antique and Medieval archaeology in Europe and the Mediterranean and has carried out excavations in the UK, Italy and Jordan.Please note: refunds are only available if a show is cancelled or rescheduled, unfortunately booking fees are non-refundable.
