A Celebration of London

Ashtead Choral Society invites you to an evening celebrating London in all its colour, character and musical charm. Featuring John Rutter's London Town alongside Bob Chilcott's Songs and Cries of London Town, this concert offers a vibrant, affectionate portrait of the capital through two of Britain's most engaging choral voices. Rutter's London Town is full of warmth, wit and melodic sparkle. Chilcott's Songs and Cries of London Town provides a lively and rhythmic counterbalance. For Ashtead Choral Society, this concert is a chance to honour a city that has inspired generations of composers and performers.
