A Summer Celebration

NSO will perform for the first time in the newly refurbished St Mary Magdalene Church in Newark to bring an exciting programme of popular classical music with an American Theme.Please note the concert start time is 6.30pm.Programme to include:Copland - Fanfare for the Common Man & Appalachian Spring

Barber - Adagio for Strings
Film Music excerpts - Jurassic Park, Chicken Run & How To Train Your DragonNSO will be travelling further afield to a new venue on Saturday, 4th July, for the final concert of the season, taking place at St Mary Magdalene Church in Newark.The exciting programme will feature a mix of American classics and memorable film music. Among the former will be Copland's Fanfare
for the Common Man and Appalachian Spring, Barber's Adagio for Strings and Gershwin's An American in Paris. In the latter category will be the main themes from the films Jurassic Park, Chicken Run and How to Train Your Dragon, in what promises to be a memorable end to the season.
