Peter Pan

All children grow up, except one...This Christmas, Playbox Theatre invites you to journey to Neverland in a new production of J.M. Barrie's timeless masterpiece, Peter Pan.
With Mr and Mrs Darling out for dinner, and Nana chained up in the yard, Wendy, John and Michael are swept from their nursery by a boy who cannot - who will not - grow up.In Neverland, they encounter lost children, fierce pirates, mermaids and fairies, discovering a world where imagination reigns and adventure is nestled around every corner. Yet beneath the wonder lies a more poignant truth: that childhood, however magical, cannot last forever.Faithful to Barrie's original story, this enchanting production captures both the exhilaration and the melancholy at the heart of one of literature's most beloved tales. Through soaring flight, thrilling encounters, beautiful choreography and a haunting musical score, Neverland is brought vividly to life for a new generation.Join us this Christmas for a theatrical adventure that will delight children and speak to anyone who has ever longed, if only for a moment, to find their way back to Neverland.Suitable for audiences 4+No babies in arms will be admitted into the auditorium.Team Performances:Spirit River Clan & Silver Tide Mermaids will perform:Thursday 17th December at 19.00 - Silver & SpiritSaturday 19th December at 15.00 & 19.00 - Silver & SpiritWednesday 23rd December at 15.00 - Silver & SpiritMonday 28th December at 15.00 - Silver & SpiritWednesday 30th December at 19.00 - Silver & SpiritFirefly Clan & Coral Reef Mermaids will perform:Friday 18th December at 19.00 - Coral & FireflySunday 20th December at 15.00 - Coral & FireflyThursday 24th December at 11.00 - Coral & FireflyTuesday 29th December at 15.00 & 19.00 - Coral & FireflyWednesday 30th December at 15.00 - Coral & Firefly
