Theres something rather special about this...On Sunday 24th May - Queen Victorias birthday - you are invited to step inside the world of Charles Dickens, brought vividly to life by his great-great-grandson, Gerald Dickens.This special performance marks the closing event of Favershams Victorian Whitsun Market & Fair - a day filled with the sights, sounds and atmosphere of the Victorian era.In this unique one-man performance, Gerald presents Doctor Marigold - the story of a travelling Victorian market trader, full of wit, rhythm and rapid-fire salesmanship yet beneath it, something far more moving.Alongside this, he performs the remarkable meeting between Charles Dickens and Queen Victoria - portraying both figures himself in a piece that is by turns insightful, engaging and quietly powerful.About Gerald Dickens...
