Detached Street Based Youth Work Coppull

Our Detached Youth Workers take the youth club to the young people. We will create safe spaces within the community, and engage with young people on their terms and provide them with information, advice and guidance on the issues affecting them.
Detached provision can be centred around a purposely created mobile unit that has been converted to provide facilities such as gaming consoles, tv. music equipment, heating and lighting as well as access to board games and refreshments. The mobile unit is a great focal point for detached work and goes long way to provide a safe space within any area it parks up. Our teams take resources out on detached to help them work with young people, such as team building activities, games, sports equipment, arts and crafts and we even take refreshments including warm drinks and snacks.Come and say hello if you see our detached team out and about.
