In the exotic French Riviera, Lawrence Jameson has made his living for many year by smooth talking rich, single women out of their money but then he bumps into Freddy Benson who is also in the swindling game Freddy's approach is more humble and laid back as he cons women with emotional lies about his family and his personal financial circumstances.Initially deciding to form a double act, their egos soon clash and it quickly becomes obvious the French coast isn't big enough for the two of them! They decide on a competition to agree who can stay and who must leave town with the winner being the first to swindle $50,000 from Christine Colgate - the latest young heiress in town.
