Lavenham Sinfonia Spring Concert 2026 - An English Journey

The Lavenham Sinfonia are delighted to present a musical journey from Gloucestershire to Cambridge all within the historic setting of the amazing Lavenham Church. Local singer Mark Saberton returns to perform Vaughan Williams' Songs of Travel . The orchestra will also perform a rarely heard piece by one of England's 'lost generation' of composers - Ivor Gurney's Gloucestershire Rhapsody . It's a beautifully evocative work with influences of Elgar, Vaughan Williams and echoes of Butterworth.
