Bourne Free Pride

InfoThe Bourne Free Pride takes place from the 10th to 12th July 2026.Bourne Free was originally set up in 2004 when a far right organisation was due to come to Bournemouth and preach that homosexuality was wrong. Many prominent figures and active members of the gay communities in the area came together to organise an event in the Lower Gardens to protect the gay communities from the bigots and keep them together for a day of celebration, rather than of hostility.Theme

Saturday, starting at 11:00, with entertainment in the Triangle from 09:00-11:00. This worked so incredibly well as we managed to get so many people taking part with music, bubble machines, flags and so much more. It was a true walking rainbow of Pride.Festival
3 days jammed with entertainment and education. On top of that, there are stalls, caterers, information tents and of course and 3 bars.Saturday
