Devine Musick Piano Trio

The three works on this programme were written at the end of the 18th century, within 10 years of each other, when their composers were doing very well; Mozart had premiered The Marriage of Figaro, Haydn was on the second of his London visits, and Beethoven was receiving great reviews as a composer and pianist. The concert will feature conductor and keyboard virtuoso Steven Devine and his regular piano trio collaborators, Caroline Balding (violin) and Andrew Skidmore (cello).Haydn: Piano Trio in E major, Hob.
