All is going swimmingly, with Mayor Marmalade and his faithful servants The Marmalads checking in on the townspeople and their latest gooey creations.

But then, the pesky diva Queen Rat arrives with her cronies to steal the town's cheese again (and do it fabulously!) It appears that the town needs a hero, and fast, before they run out of cheese for good! The town deliberates and settles on recruiting a famous fairytale figure to save the day!The townspeople's only hope now lies with The Pied Piper, and his trusty best friend Bottoms - a tag team of do-gooders, seeking to bring the joy of music and dance all across the land.

When Mayor Marmalade's Messenger arrives at the pair's humble home in the Forest, Piper is thrilled to find out that this is the first time they'll be properly paid for their help! And with the pair's big dreams for taking their do-gooding worldwide, some contracted compensation sounds ideal!
