Oct 3rd will see the return of one of our favourite acts THE ACHIEVERS (3rd time) to The Muse Brecon...
Award winning americana, blues & rootsWinners of the UK blues challenge 2020 nominated for multiple UK blues awardsOver the past decade The Achievers have garnered an international reputation for being one of the very finest, most accomplished and original live bands performing Blues, Americana and Roots music in Europe.
Their shows, headlining clubs and festivals around the world, are life-affirming demonstrations of the power of live music - creating intimate concert atmospheres brimming with laughter, positivity and rich musicality.
Their infectious rhythms, joyful melodies and jaw-dropping vocal harmonies have gained them much critical acclaim, multiple UK Blues Award nominations and saw them win the highly prodigious UK Blues Challenge in 2019.
They reached the semi-final of the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee in January 2020 and the finals of the European Blues Challenge in Malmo, Sweden in 2022.

Peter has recently returned to Brecon having played in various bands and duos around Bristol and South Gloucestershire for the past 30 years. Peter started playing in folk clubs in North Wales in his teens.
