Phantasmagoria Horror Film Festival is back for its 5th year, And proudly remains the County of Wrexham's only horror film festival.Join us for three days of horror celebrating the best of classic and independent genre cinema.This year's festival features 15 feature films, including 5 classic horror favourites and 10 brand-new independent horror films, alongside a showcase of 30 horror short films.

There will also be Q&A sessions with our special guests, a horror pub quiz, and trade stalls offering horror-themed merchandise.We're delighted to welcome legendary horror actor Laurence R.

Harvey, along with acclaimed independent filmmakers MJ Dixon and Michael Fausti, plus more special guestsOur 2026 theme celebrates the slasher film, with classic screenings including the rarely screened video nasty Don't Go in the Woods plus 80s and 90s favourite Happy Birthday to Me, April Fool's Day, Urban Legend, and Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday.Please note that Friday's programme is suitable for ages 15+, while Saturday and Sunday are strictly for adults aged 18 and over due to the nature of the films being shown.Whether you're a lifelong horror fan or looking to discover the very best in independent horror, Phantasmagoria Horror Film Festival promises a weekend packed with scares, special guests, and unforgettable cinematic experiences.
