From Show Gardens to Your Gardens' by Sarah Eberle

Longstock Garden Club are hosting an evening with Sarah Eberle, the most decorated garden designer in Chelsea Flower Show history with 14 RHS Chelsea Gold medals together with 4 'Best In ' category wins. With over 50 years in horticulture, Sarah is known for creating gardens that are not just beautiful, but deeply meaningful - rooted in landscape, story and emotion. Sarah had stepped back from Chelsea but when The Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE) came to her to design a garden about edgelands - the overlooked countryside on the fringes of our towns and cities she could not say no. Sarah was awarded RHS Chelsea Garden of the Year this year for her 'On the Edge'. She is one of only three women to have received this prestigious award.
