John has had a life long interest in railway photography and was particularly fortunate to not only have a friend in Eric but be encouraged and mentored by him. They grew up in the same town of Hyde in Cheshire and their friendship began with visits, by John as a lad, to Erics bakery where they had chats over buns about railways and photography.Giggleswick Railway Circle (GRC) is a voluntary group that holds regular meetings for anyone interested in railways.

GRC is not a club; all are welcome to the meetings, and there is no subscription or membership needed. Refreshments are included in the admission charge.
