Threads is a weekly project that creates connections between communities with a shared love of traditional craft skills.
Meet, share and create together every Tuesday during term time.While focusing on sharing skills and knowledge, the workshops aim to teach practical and useful techniques, where language and experience is not a barrier to getting involved.Visit the current exhibitions, enjoy a cuppa and work on your own textile projects in a welcoming and relaxed space.
With support from the gallerys learning team, Threads provides opportunities to work collaboratively on short term projects related to our exhibitions programme.A limited number of free places are available to our refugee community and individuals seeking asylum or those with Passport to Leisure.
