Gmdf One Act Play Festival

The 64th GMDF One Act Play Festival will be held at Players Theatre Cheadle on the 10th to the 14th June 2026.This is always a brilliant week's live theatre with amateur theatres across the Greater Manchester region and beyond performing their one act plays each evening and afternoons at the weekend.It is a competitive Festival which is a valuable arena for budding playwrights and Directors to cut their teeth as well as a brilliant challenge for cast who have never experienced performing in a One Act Play Festival before.
We have two youth sections, an adult section and an original writing section so there really is something for everyone.We look forward to seeing you.
