Dead Slow Hoot + the Sunken Sea

Dead Slow Hoot and The Sunken Sea take the stage for another special New Lands night.Dead Slow Hoot is a left of the dial indie rock quartet taking influence from bands like Wilco, Built To Spill and Big Thief - tender songs that take unexpected turns, tight but loose.Led by Melbourne songwriter Dougal James' frank lyrics and baritone drawl, The Sunken Sea's music blends the personal and the political.

Soaring melodies slice through dense rhythms and syrupy harmonies to forge dusty Australiana tinged with lopsided jazz and post-punk.Presented by The Ivy House. This is an 18+ event
