Known for a sound that blends 90s alt-rock with modern art-punk, this show will feature the first live performances of tracks from the new Oracle EP alongside favs from the recent debut album Beyond The Water , both recorded in Los Angeles with producer Brad Wood ( Liz Phair, Veruca Salt, Smashing Pumpkins, Placebo and more ).Sister Ghost's band-leader Shannon has a long history with The Wee Red Bar, having played there with Vanilla Gloom (Ireland's only all-female band back in 2013!) and several high-energy sets there since with Sister Ghost most notably with Girls Rock School Edinburgh and Queer As Punk promotions. Its the ideal Edinburgh setting to host this event once again alongside Girls Rock School Edinburgh, an organization that shares Shannon's commitment to supporting women and gender-diverse people in the music industry.Come through for a night of femme/gender expansive-led loud guitar bands, DIY spirit, and the celebrate the release of the Oracle !
