Harpsichordist Masumi Yamamoto presents a unique programme of music by 18th century women composers: Elisabetta de Gambarini (17301765), Elizabeth Turner (d.1756), and Elizabeth Hardin (17501780).

Their charming and expressive harpsichord works were published in 1748, 1756, and 1770 respectively, offering a glimpse into the creative voices of women in Georgian England.An engaging speaker as well as performer, Masumi will introduce the music of these little known composers with fascinating details of their lives and works .

She will be performing on a harpsichord by local maker Huw Saunders.
