Guided Plant Walk around the Cemetery

Cemetery Plants TourSunday 17th May 11amThe Cemetery is not only a great place for history but also a valuable wildlife area in the city. Join Gerry Firkins to explore and discover more about the plants and ecology in a gentle wander around the Cemetery. Gerry is a local botanist and has led field meetings for Sheffield University, WEA, RSPB and others since the 1980s. He has also taught plant ID for several years and is a tutor for the Botanical Society of the British Isles.Tour starts at the Gatehouse and is aimed at adults and older children.
