Hello Charlie follows Sisters Maeve and Kate.

They have fled their past trauma in Derry and now live in London.

Hedonistic Maeve binge-drinks to oblivion; stoic Kate sees history repeating itself.

But Maeve dodges culpability for her drunken antics; the blame clearly lies with her beloved, inebriated alter-ego: Charlie.A laugh out loud dark comedy that is courageous and fiercely original in its portrayal of addiction.Hello Charlie was developed as part of The Lyric’s New Playwrights Programme.
