Arctic Monkeys on Brass: 20 Years of 'Whatever People Say I am'

This November, we celebrate 20 years of Arctic Monkeys’ iconic debut album, 'Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not'.Released in 2006, the album captured the chaos, characters and late-night rituals of British nightlife like nothing before it.

From uni parties, packed dancefloors to questionable decisions at 3am, Alex Turner turned an average night out into some of the sharpest indie anthems of a generation.20 years on, a live 10-piece brass band takes on the album in full, reworking classics like ‘I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor’, ‘When the Sun Goes Down’, ‘Mardy Bum’ and many more of the Arctic Monkeys’ biggest hits into a whole new kind of brass-fuelled night.This event does not feature a performance from nor is in association with Arctic Monkeys.Presented by The Blues Kitchen Brixton.This is an 18+ event.
