We Will Hear The Angels

WE WILL HEAR THE ANGELS explores the strange state of melancholy through words, movement and music. It premiered in the atmospheric Warehouse at the Fruitmarket in Edinburgh in January 2025. Performed by an ensemble of five actor-musicians, it features music by Hank Williams, Orange Juice, Etta James, Moondog and J.S.Bach among others.
Bea is stunned by the revelation of her husband’s infidelity; she feels heartbroken and alone. If only she knew that her neighbours, Sonia, Van and Ian, were each also trying to get over the pain in their hearts, unable to articulate how they feel. Maybe the mysterious Lou can help them?
