Twlight Dance in Primary Schools - IN PERSON

The new National Curriculum guidance for 2027 2028 will be bringing dance and the arts front and centre. Ensure your school is ready for the changes and your teachers feel confident in using movement and dance in school.
This free taster workshop will give you easy to implement ideas for bringing movement into everyday learning in a cross-curricular way. This introductory twilight will touch on:-
dance for cross curricular learning
dance in the PE curriculum
dance and movement for wellbeing
movement as classroom management,
games and activities for developing social skills,
use of language
safe practice and safeguarding in movement
We will provide handouts with class ideas and structures and suggested music and resources.
This is an introduction or a refresher for teachers with little knowledge/confidence in delivering movement at school.
Please wear clothes you can move in and trainers or bare feet and a note pad.
If you are joining the online session you will need to be in a space with enough room to move around in front of your screen, for example push a couple of desks to the side in your classroom.
