Join us at one of our themed monthly museum lates for an opportunity to explore our exhibitions after hours! These extended openings allow visitors to see the space in a unique and hands-on way! This month’s late will also include a special talk will be given by a member of our museum team, Kate, on the life and work of Alexis Soyer.

Soyer was a French Chef brought to the Crimean War by Nightingale to improve patients health by improving the food available.

Soyer created a stove that saved countless lives, but his own tragically short life has left him relatively unknown to history. The talk will start at 6:30pm BST and will last around 45 minutes with time for questions at the end and is included in all general admission tickets.A bar will be open starting at 5:00pm serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks offering the perfect accompaniment to your visit. All tickets purchased for the monthly museum lates are general admission tickets and will be valid for a full year.

All general admission tickets (including those of repeat visitors) will be accepted for these monthly Thursday evening lates.
