Showtime Community Productions CIO returns to Darlaston Town Hall for its 2nd year! Don't miss this year's, brand new 2027 magical family pantomime adventure, Dick Whittington, with plenty of surprises in store!A traditional tail of adventure. "Dick Whittington" travels to London to seek his fortune, but all is not what it seems. Instead of the streets being paved with gold, they are infested with rats. Dick's best friend, his trusty cat, "Socks" comes to the rescue. However, the evil rat "Goldtooth" causes trouble and tries to stop Dick from achieving his dreams. With the help of Dick's new friends and Socks, this adventure will take you on a magical journey to unexplored lands, with plenty of comedy and panto magic. Will Dick manage to defeat the menacing Goldtooth and save the day, or will Goldtooth take over London? Please consider your attendance before booking your tickets, if you feel that this may affect members of your party as we cannot offer a refund if you choose to leave during the performance due to this. There are no calm space facilities within the venue. Our performances are not recommended for those aged 2 and under.Conditions of Sale
Once purchased tickets CANNOT be refunded or exchanged unless the show is cancelled. Please double check the time, date and seats you have chosen before making payment.
Latecomers will not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance and admission may not be guaranteed.
No pushchairs are permitted in the main hall. Limited pushchair parking is available and they must be folded down, we advise against bringing pushchairs to the venue unless this is absolutely necessary.
Booked Seats are NOT exchangeable at the performances, unless there is an issue and is at management discretion only.
If tickets are bought online, e-tickets must be shown at the door via a print-out or an email on a mobile device. This must display seat numbers, QR Code and date and time of performance. Online ticket sales close 2 hours before each performance and without a valid e-ticket being shown, admission may not be possible. Ticket sales are available on the door, subject to availability.
We do not support the resale of our tickets, and would advise all customers to purchase tickets through ticket source. If you choose to purchase tickets by any other means, then this is at your own risk and could result in you not being admitted to the venue.

No OUTSIDE food or drink is permitted on the premises. Bag checks will be conducted on entry to the venue and any OUTSIDE food or drink will be discarded. Failure to comply with this will result in non-admittance and a refund will not be issued..Refreshments and merchandise are available at the venue. - Cash only. There is a bar on site, which will be open before the show and during the interval. Please be reminded this is a family event and please drink responsibly. The event organiser and venue reserves the right to refuse admission to, or remove from the venue, any person who is intoxicated by alcohol or drugs, acting in a disorderly manner, or failing to follow instructions given by venue staff or volunteers. No refunds will be given in these cases.
All those entering the venue must hold a valid ticket for that performance date and time. Doors to the venue open 1 hour before the performance start time and doors to the auditorium 45 minutes before the performance.
We do not tolerate abusive or disruptive behaviour towards venue staff, volunteers or visitors. You will be refused admission or be told to vacate the premises. Please be respectful towards venue staff, volunteers and your fellow audience members. Children should be accompanied by an adult and all audience members should remain seated whilst the performance is taking place.
Mobile phones and any other electronic devices should be switched off during the performance. We do not allow the taking of photographs or any recording to take place during the performance.
It is at the discretion of management to refuse entry to the venue.Wheelchair Access
Please note we CAN NOT accommodate disability scooters in the venue. .
Wheelchair access is limited, please note this is a first come first served basis. We can accommodate 6 wheelchair seats per performance. These are situated at G1 & G18, H1 & H18, N5 & N14 (These seats are removed and have space for a standard wheelchair). We will NOT remove seats anywhere else in the auditorium for wheelchairs.
If you require additional support regarding wheelchair access please contact us before you book tickets so we can try and accomodate your needs. If you do not contact us before you book your tickets, we will NOT be able to remove seats, cater for your needs or refund your ticket.
