Foolhardy Folk Festival is to return during the Bank Holiday weekend, bringing a day of live folk and independent music to the city’s historic park.The artist-led festival, curated by Beans on Toast, will once again feature a carefully selected line-up of artists performing in the park’s tree-lined surroundings.
The musician will open and close the event with two special live sets.Headlining the 2026 edition is acclaimed singer-songwriter Badly Drawn Boy, joined on the line-up by Skinny Lister, 3 Daft Monkeys, K.O.G, Gecko, Nuala and King Killership.Alongside the music programme, festival-goers can enjoy local street food vendors, a bar featuring Nottingham breweries and a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.
A special talk will also see Nottingham cultural figure Loraine Burgon in conversation with Beans on Toast about the early days of Nottingham’s music scene and the rise of rock ’n’ roll.
