Live at Idalia: Mari Songs

We’re kicking off our new live music programme with South London singer, songwriter and guitarist Mari Songs on Friday 18th September.Known for her distinctive “atmospheric soul”, Mari blends soul, jazz, pop, folk and alternative R&B, pairing rich vocals and warm melodies with thought-provoking lyrics.A sought-after vocalist and arranger, Mari has worked with artists including Tyla, Little Simz, SAULT, Kathy Sledge, Pixie Lott and The 1975, as well as performing with The Kingdom Choir at the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry.

More recently, she performed at Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday celebration alongside Bastille and Hans Zimmer.Her set at Idalia will set the tone for Pillar Hall’s new live music programme, bringing soulful jazz, familiar favourites and original music into the restaurant as the evening begins, followed by a late night set downstairs in Pepperbird.
