Road by Jim Cartwright

Cloud8 Theatre Company is proud to present Road by acclaimed playwright Jim Cartwright at the Abbey Theatre.

A modern British classic, Road takes audiences on a vivid journey through a working-class northern street over the course of a single night, guided by the charismatic Scullery.

Along the way, we meet an unforgettable cast of characters navigating hardship, hope, humour and heartbreak as they search for escape and connection in challenging times.

Raw, funny, poetic and deeply human, Road remains a powerful and moving portrait of community, resilience and the lives lived behind closed doors.
