Workshop with Polly Pollock: Small Looped Baskets

During this day workshop youll make a small looped pouch from paper yarns. This will include making a simple mould to work around, learning how to get started, then working the main body of your small looped basket/pouch, how to join materials, and how to finish off.All materials and equipment will be provided by Polly.
Polly will also bring along some examples and samples of looped basketry from her personal collection for students to observe and photograph.A workshop for adults, all abilities welcome. Please bring a packed lunch.This special workshop is part of the Textile Study Group's UNmaking exhibition programme at The Museum in the Park.
