Kraken Theatre Group are delighted to present Macbeth, a tragic play by William Shakespeare about ambition, power, and guilt.After a victorious battle, the Scottish general Macbeth meets three witches who prophesy that he will become king.

Encouraged by his wife, Lady Macbeth, he murders King Duncan and takes the throne.Once in power, Macbeth becomes increasingly paranoid and tyrannical, ordering more killings to secure his position.

Meanwhile, Lady Macbeth is consumed by guilt and descends into madness.Opposition grows, led by nobles loyal to Duncans son.

In the final battle, Macbeth is defeated and killed, restoring rightful rule to Scotland.In short: The play shows how unchecked ambition and moral corruption lead to destruction.PLEASE NOTE THERE WILL BE STROBE LIGHTS AND SMOKE MACHINES THROUGHOUT THE PERFORMANCE AND THIS IS A PLAY THAT TACKLES ADULT THEMES.
