Computer World is a monthly club night dedicated to playing the very best of before, during and after the 80s electro pop, new wave and alternative / electronic music, with dashes of disco, punk and goth.....and the odd curveball here and there!
Named in honour of Kraftwerk's legendary 1981 album, 'Computer World' has run in Taunton since summer 2021. We'll be delivering a playlist blending classic synth-centric, new wave and darker, gothy tunes you know by heart (so there's no excuse for not singing along!), as well as tunes you forgot you loved back in the day. It means we can stuff the playlist with dozens of tracks, including classics like....

Our playlists blend the legends with the lesser known and the older with the newer wave, exploring the electronic and new wave scenes from before, during and after the 80s.
Tonight's session is YOU BUILD THE PLAYLIST! The first hour from 7.30pm is DJ's choice, but it's over to YOU after that - send us your requests in advance when you book, there'll be a checkout question when you confirm your tickets, and as long as it fits in with the CW theme, it'll have a good chance of being aired on the night! It doesn't have to be purely 80's either - tracks can be 70's or much more recent, again as long as it fits with what we normally play! Requests to the DJ on the night gladly considered but not guaranteed, so please let us know beforehand.
