Sculpture, painting or both? The work of RauschenbergThis session is for the home education group, with a mixed age range to accommodate families where children would normally split over multiple sessions because of the age range. It's open to all.The session lasts 1.5 hours. There will be a natural break after 1 hour so families with younger participants can opt to leave if the length is too long for them. Everyone is welcome to stay for the final 30 minutes. Daniel provides all materials. This month we will explore what happens when an artist combines sculpture and painting into one new art form by focusing on the Tate Modern display of Robert Rauschenberg.'Art has everything to do with life, but nothing to do with art.' - Robert RauschenbergHttps://www.Tate.Org.UK/visit/Tate-modern/display/artist-rooms-Robert-rauschenbergEveryone attending, including adults, needs a ticket. Maximum capacity: 20 people.
Children must be accompanied by an adult, who counts towards the ticket limit. Families may share an adult. Gallery safeguarding rules allow one adult to accompany up to 10 children. Please arrive at Tate Modern 15 minutes early, as entrance bag checks may cause delays. You will not need to buy any separate tickets for entrance to Tate Modern or this display, both of which are free entry.
