Ali Affleck And The Swinging City Six

Vivacious vocalist Ali Affleck debuts a new band and a new repertoire celebrating the music of New Orleans, Chicago and Harlem.

Her stellar band features young English piano star Tom Ward, Norwegian trumpeter Torstein Kubban, and New Orleans clarinettist Jonathan Greene.

Together with Ali's regular collaborators, Timmy Allan (guitar) and Roy Percy (bass), they celebrate the music of Fats Waller, Louis Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton, The Harlem Hamfats and the mighty Bessie Smith, among others.
