William Cunliffe, a Burnley blacksmith and poet, published his poems in the 1860s.
Cunliffe wrote in his native Lancashire dialect about the crippling hardships faced by millworkers and their families with both humour and honesty.Three of these poems have now been 're-imagined' by balladeer Jennifer Reid and celebrated musician Boff Whalley into three music 'videos' produced and directed by local filmmakers.Burnley Library is proud to host this audio/visual exhibition in the new Stocks Massey Music Library.Runs 10:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 16:00
