Your favourite blind folk-singing comedian returns.Since my last Nottingham Comedy
Festival show Ive had my own stand-up series on BBC Radio 4. Nevertheless Ive not
increased the ticket price, partly because, as the title suggests, I havent really decided
yet what this show will be about. But in fairness, Im writing this blurb in June, and the
show's not until November. Ill probably bang on some more about being blind, because
it's useful to exploit a niche. Ill probably sing a song and play the accordion, because Im
a brazen crowd pleaser. Ive got some thoughts about gospel music, stories about an odd altercation in an American airport, a weird experience with a nun and a run-in with
some racists in Kent. I might play you some of my weird childhood recordings that I
discovered on some old cassettes. Ive got a poem from the perspective of a piece of
discarded chewing gum and a song about a misunderstood pigeon. In fact, now that Ive
written this, I reckon the show's going to be absolutely incredible. Id suggest booking
your tickets now, before misguided hubris leads me to whack up the price.Awards
