Fantastic Fossils

Join us at the Vale & Downland Museum for a fantastic morning all about fossils!
The team from Oxfordshire Geology Trust will be here with some dinosaur teeth, claws and other fossils, they will also be able to help identify any fossils you may have at home, so please do bring them along.
The museum team will also have fossils available to handle, such as a mammoth tooth and tusk, and a ichthyosaur bone.
We'll be making dinosaur masks and dinosaur or fossil decorations using CDs, and take part in our dino dig, dig through the sand to uncover our dinosaur skeleton.6.50 per child.Wednesday 19th August
10am - 12 noon.Children must be accompanied by an adult. Adults do not need a ticket.
