Ahoying from the county of Nottinghamshire sails Red Rum; a band of cut-throat pirates, epic rum guzzlers and blood-thirsty warriors! A mighty pirate themed battle band shaped by the majesty of classical music, the rowdiness of folk, and the might of metal! The countless voyages of Red Rum have truly cemented their place in the folk metal world and beyond sharing the stage with the likes of Sodom, Skindred, Alestorm, and many more!Cutlass
Their music is a product of these thrash, NWoBHM and classic metal influences and is delivered with a raw intensity and honesty. During 2003-2008 they released a demo album and EP, and lived up to their name playing across the south of the UK with their preposterous lyrics and adrenaline fuelled riffs, serving up wild original songs and covers from Judas Priest to Slayer to hundreds of (many unsuspecting) fellow teenagers across DIY gigs.The Anchors
