The story tells of a landlord who lets a room to two lodgers, one who works nights and one who works during the day.

When one takes a day off work they meet in the room and tempers flare.The Zoo is a one-act comic operetta that premiered in 1875 and was Sullivans first collaboration with librettist B.

This musical follyconcerns two pairs of lovers.

First, a nobleman, who goes to the zoo to woo the girl who sells snacks to the visitors.

He tries to impress her by buying and eating all of the food.

The other couple is a young chemist who believes he has poisoned his beloved by mixing up her fathers prescription with peppermint that he had meant for her.Trial by Jury is a one-act comic operetta that premiered in 1875 and was Gilbert and Sullivans second collaboration.

It is a satirical take on a breach-of-promise lawsuit.
