In a co-headlining first, Trial Tapes and Little Furry Things will unite for the evening for a fundraising extravaganza accompanied by a homebaked lineup of the finest DIY scuzz, fuzz and alt-folk underground.Inspired by the eponymous song from the landmark Hüsker Dü record, “Flip Yr Wig” is a call to action - embodying the double meaning to kick off and get excited - in the name of good old fashioned fundraising for causes close to their hearts.For their first event, Flip Yr Wig are proud to announce the night will celebrate and raise funds for Liverpool Trans & Enby FC, a grassroots football club created specifically for, and led by, trans and non-binary communities in celebration of queer sport, community and belonging.With support from local heroes Hunky Dory and All Maudra and Wrecsam’s own Eliots Graveyard - Flip Yr Wig will be raising a racket as well as funds - especially when hosting duties are in the hands of the infamous Don’t Ask Me What My Social Security Number Is who will bring an air of unpredictable chaotic prestige to proceedings.Flip Yr Wig invites you to show up, show love and show support to an incredible local organisation and help prove loud music and voices can make a difference.
