Toy Swap for Green Libraries Week

Celebrate Green Libraries Week with us! This event is part of Green Libraries Week, a national celebration of libraries and their role in creating more sustainable, resilient communities. Join us to discover new ideas, connect with others, and take positive action for the environment. Together, we're celebrating how libraries help foster civic pride, inspire community engagement, and support a greener future for everyone.
For Green Libraries Week we want to encourage you to donate any toys that you don't play with anymore, and swap them for new (to you) toys to enjoy. Do something positive for the environment and save some money too!
This is how it works:Bring any unwanted toys to the library to donate (bring them in on the day of the swap or anytime from Wednesday 21 October)
Please only donate toys that are clean, complete and in good working order- no electrical items please
Take away any toys that you would like during the swap on Saturday 24 October- all toys are free!
Any toys leftover at the end of the swap will be donated to a local charity
Enjoy playing with some new toys!
