We're delighted to be hosting our second 'Women in Business' workshop as part of the Boroughmuir Business Club.This time round we will be hearing about "Menopause Matters: Practical Tools for Health, Wellbeing & Working Life", with an insightful panel discussion featuring experts from the medical, nutritional and physical wellbeing fields:Dr Jane Catley - Evergreen Medical
Dr Jane Catley is an NHS GP with 20 years' experience and specialist qualifications in women's health and menopause care. She'll cover recognising menopause symptoms, understanding hormonal changes, HRT and alternative approaches, alongside the role of lifestyle in supporting long-term health.Wilma MacDonald - Maverick Menopause
Wilma is a registered nutritional therapist and founder of Maverick Menopause, bringing together 10 years of clinical experience following a previous career in banking and finance. She'll explore the impact of perimenopause on everyday life and work, sharing practical, evidence-informed advice on nutrition, lifestyle and workplace support.Lara Webber - BodySmart Physio Pilates
Lara is a senior physiotherapist and Clinical Pilates instructor with experience across the UK and Australia. She'll discuss how menopause can affect muscles, bones and joints, with practical advice on maintaining strength, mobility and confidence through midlife and beyond.The session will explore practical ways to support health and wellbeing through the workplace and beyond, with plenty of useful insights for business owners, employers and anyone interested in the topic.It's a great opportunity to pick up some practical advice, share experiences and connect with fellow members over a coffee and pastry.Wednesday 18th November
