Sarah Pearse: Opening Author Event
Local author Sarah Pearse has taken the literary world by storm. Her debut novel The Sanatorium reached No1 on The Sunday Times bestseller list and the subsequent two thrillers in the trilogy, The Retreat, and The Wilds, have now sold well over 1.5 million copies together. It is fitting that a former Torquay Girls Grammar school pupil should be the festivals first ever author. As well as talking about her books, we will explore Sarahs writing process and what has helped her succeed as a novelist.
