Runaway Samba Drumming Taster Session

Join us for a fun and energetic samba drumming session.

This taster session is a chance to try something new, experience the uplifting wellbeing benefits of collective music-making and meet new people.No previous experience is needed and all abilities are welcome.

Come along, have a go, feel the beat, and enjoy the excitement of creating music as part of a group.

This high-energy workshop forms part of 40 Fest Jack Drum Arts' 40th birthday celebrations.

If you enjoy the session, you'll be able to register for our regular term-time sessions.Runaway Samba is a lively and inclusive inter-generational drumming group that meets on Thursday evenings with people of all ages coming together to learn and perform Brazilian samba rhythms.

Led by experienced facilitators, participants explore a range of percussion instruments and rhythms, building confidence, teamwork, musical skills, make community connections along the way and are able to perform at public events across the County and further afield.Suitable for age 14 to 70 plus.
