Festival of the Dead Lantern Making Workshops - Wanstead

Make your own magical Day of the Dead themed lantern to remember the life of a loved one - choose between a cylinder or globe design, then take part in a fabulous lantern fiesta parade with the Lantern Company! Please note, this craft activity will involve the use of Sharpies and staplers, and will require some parental supervision.Craft workshops can be messy, so it’s best to wear or bring some old clothes.Booking Essential. (A limited number of spaces will be available on the day on a first come first served basis.)It is up to you which lantern you would prefer! We would recommend the cylinder design for children under 7yrs as it can be laid flat to colour and then stapled together. We recommend the globe design for children over 7yrs, younger children may find it difficult to colour on a round surface.Supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council EnglandThis event is part of our Festival of the Dead Programme - click here to see what else is on!
