Invention Festival

A brand new, grassroots music experience is coming to shake up Derby’s cultural landscape.The inaugural Invention Festival will transform the city centre into a buzzing hub of live music, spanning multiple independent venues for a one-day-only celebration of raw talent and creative collaboration.Over 40 artists will descend on the city with the curation promising an eclectic, genre-defying mix ranging from underground punk, metal, and rock to electronic experimentation, psych-folk, and intimate acoustic storytelling.Ticket holders will be able to access all six venues during the day to see live performances, including: The Hairy Dog, The Wardwick, Electric Daisy, Dubrek Studios, Mr Shaw’s House, Chapel Street Arts and busking stops hosted by Furthest From The Sea.
