Display: Glasgow's Commonwealth Games

In 2014 the city came together to celebrate the Commonwealth Games .During that historic summer, the Mitchell Library collected ephemera like leaflets, posters, newspapers, badges and fabulous foam hands!For 2026, staff from Mitchell Library Special Collections have curated a selection for a small commemorative display.Come along and share your memories in our visitor book.There will also be an opportunity to view some of the ephemera of 2026.Find us in the level 5 foyer.Ephemera
