Following the seasons from October to March, the music reveals colour and emotional power.Felix Mendelssohn’s String Symphony No.10 offers youthful intensity, while Schumann’s ‘Spring’ Symphony brings the evening to a joyful close.Commissioned by the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg (financed by the Friends of the Mozarteum Orchestra Association), the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra.
